The iPhone is just simpler. Most American's are super tech savvy people and just want a phone to work when they use it. I wanna check my email? Click email and it pops up. Magic, I don't care if I can root it or w/e. If it works for what most people want to do, and works solidly most of the time, why shouldn't it be popular?

Android's cool. If you're into tech and like playing around with it, it's superior to the iOS. But if you don't care about that, what's the point?

Exactly..that's why I have an iPhone. I like Android, just don't really like any of the devices they have and after seeing quite a few of people have issues with their Android based device, it steered me away.. People just like to argue over stupid ish. It all comes down to preference, but you will always have fanboys for everything..

I don't need to root (I can jailbreak if I really need more control over my iOS device), I don't need the ability to customize every last homescreen icon...my simple green icon that says "phone" below it on the main dock of my iPhone launches the phone functions the same as a heavily modified and customized phone icon on an Android phone.

Arguing about iPhones being good or bad is like arguing about religion or sports...everyone has their favorite and their own standpoints, and won't budge f...
