how I found out about phone releases and plan changes through PhoneScoop before I'm told by AT&T themselves. Beautiful communication skills there. Beautiful.

What, you want a phone call? How are they supposed to 'notify' you?

An email would be nice. I do get email notifications on some new phones, like the Galaxy S II, which included a spec sheet and pricing points about a week before it came out. Why not on other phones like this? Or plan changes? They've also changed our data-only plans on me twice without warning while I've been working here. I'm lucky I keep up with things on my own x.x

Oh, you're an employee?

I thought you were a customer....that's why I thought your comment was weird.... 🤣

When I worked for at&t we used to have training on important new phones all the time....

But whether you get that training depends on the manufacturer really, and how forthcoming they want to be....

We had training in webOS and on the Motoblur as well as training on Blackberry 6.0 when the Torch was released....

They're not as forthcoming with me. I work for a company that works for a company that works for AT&T, doing online wireless sales.

The reason no one told you about the changes is it's usually a need-to-know basis. This phone is pretty basic and you'd find out about it maybe a day or two before the launch date if it's set to be a major player in the phone line up.

This one is decidedly not. =P
