I thought you were a customer....that's why I thought your comment was weird....
When I worked for at&t we used to have training on important new phones all the time....
But whether you get that training depends on the manufacturer really, and how forthcoming they want to be....
We had training in webOS and on the Motoblur as well as training on Blackberry 6.0 when the Torch was released....
