Hands-On: Windows Phone 7.5 Mango

I got an alert for an update earlier today at work, but I found that performing the update at my PC whenever I got home just updated my phone to a newer version of 7.0. I wonder why such a minor update would be sent out so close to when 7.5 is supposed to be available.

For my HTC HD7, it was a two part upgrade. The first didn't even look like an upgrade, it was more about backing up my info. The second that said HTC update was actually all the stuff that makes it Mango. There was a neat trick on Engadget on how to fool Zune Software into giving you the final Mango update ASAP.
