I'm amazed how idiotic people can be about the iPhones...they have to have one(but they don't know what it looks like or has for features) but HAVE to get it...they could shape it like a piece of dog crap and some people would still wait overnight to get it because it is an Apple product...

Is this the only thing people can say? Maybe people are just expecting it to be another great product (which it is). If it wasn't, then we wouldn't see phones that are just like it. They changed everything. Find a thing to complain about.

Point is, people have a demand for the phone. If they didn't like it, they would return it. Windows is the marketshare holder. He said the phone gets crappy service. If it gets crappy service..why do they continue to sell like they do? People just blindly hate on everything nowadays.

No I'm not citing consumer reports-they are a scam-I'm talking personal experiance(for one I sell them so I hear this everyday and have talked to the at&t techs) also my wife drops calls in spots her samsung impression or lgc2000 didn't and my father can't use it where his motorola v190 and v557 and nokia 1100 all worked..and Apple has swapped it 2 times so it wasn't a defective phone...

Regardless of the service quality, the iPhone sucks so hard because of Apple's biggest flaw - requiring ridiculous proprietary restrictions. Ever used a Firewire port? Neither have I.

No, but if the company is making solid profits for 10 years with the highest customer satisfaction ratings and being the trendsetter for each industry it competes in, I'd say they're making a damn good product. Oh, and the whole application ecosystem thing that has generated a billion-plus dollars in revenue to developers. Yeah, total scam.
But by all means, if you can't distinguish between a fly-by-night fad company and Apple by 2011 there isn't much I can really do to make up for a basic lack of business understanding (or Sprint Sour Grapes┞¢)

I would agree, however the facts stand that it is always the most anticipated phone when it is released. The Iphone is an amazing product and has an exceptionable operating system and its only on one device. There are other alternatives such as the Bionic and Sg2. Its all based on how you market the unit.
