Vzw UI sux they are the only company at the moment in the US that forces you to use there crappy interface. VZW has been in most cases the best voice service for awhile now so I think you are a lil late with that comment!

Starting with the LG 8300 ... Verizon has been implementing a new flash customizable interface on a few of their phones... this flash customizable interface will also be on several of their new phones to be released...
I have an LG8300 and the new customizable interfaces are pretty cool...
...
i agree that it's pretty neat, but all that interface customizes is the main menu, not the menus or interface on any other screens.
...
Not to mention it's laggy.
...
not all of them are laggy... the pulse on the LG 8300 is not laggy at all..
...
not to mention that the 8300 came out like 3 months ago and everyone on here knows about it :p
...
Verizon's will look just like this one... theres a good chance it will also be released with a new flash customizable interface like several other NEW Verizon handsets.. starting with the LG 8300... pretty nice!

Why does everyone keep talking about a flash UI, yes it is being worked on, but i doubt that it will come to the KRZR. Motorola would have to write a whole new software interface and thats not really easy to do, what they have now works for them. All they will do as they did with the Razr, is take the regular motorola firmware setup and run a interface on top of it, that why the Verizon razr lagged really bad with the first initial firmware and still does a little bit.
So when you say flash based UI think about all the work that goes into making that UI. The manufacturer makes a standard Interface for all the carriers with a few modifications and everything works great. But verizon comes in and wants there own well this is where the prob...

actually your wrong. LG has the rights to the flash UI. so if any other manufacturer wants this flash UI they have to pay LG to use this.
smart move on LGs part.
Also the KRAZR is already being tested through our quality assurance process, so it s very close to launching. ive actually had one in my hand and played with one. and unfortunately for all the cry babies it has the standard UI. 😢
...
verizon that is. 😎
...
What are you talking about? LG doesn't hold any rights to the user interface.
...
please tell me what other manufacturer has the flash UI???
LG, exactly....
...
and you're saying this on an assumption?
...
actually straight from the american CEO for LG. he was at a town meeting for verizon wireless right before the launch of the chocolate. so this not an assumption, just the facts. 😉
...
LG doesn't hold any rights to that interface... It is designed by Adobe, not LG. Adobe is the developer for the Flash UI.
I have no idea what LG is trying to brainwash you with, but Samsung and Motorola can use these in their phones when they wish. They don't have to pay any royalties to LG for that (ugly, slow, hard to navigate) flash GUI.
...
It's not slow, it's not hard to navigate, and it certainly is not ugly. It's the best UI verizon has had in years. Yes - years.
