Indeed this is awesome but any savy smartphone user has a locking code to their phone. Pleeding the 5th and not reveling your unlocking stopped them for going any futher than them exploring the data on your SD card.

That won't stop a search anymore than putting a password on your PC prevents police from searching your PC....

Any security can be bypassed, the police will simply hire some expert hackers who will be able to get around those protections.

All some nitwit will have to say is this helps "Terrorism" and this ruling will fold like a cheap deck of cards. In my heart, I wish it wouldn't. But many of our fellow countrymen could care less about rights.
