I find it interesting that nobody was up in arms when that whore of a company VZ was eating up its competition in rural america when they bought air touch, Alltel and many others just to name a few. The DOJ is owned and controlled by Verizon and Sprint has heavy influencers in that space as well. Were those mergers any different when it comes to a market by market monopoly? If they block this acquisition the FCC and DOJ have major lawsuits coming to them because of the free ride VZW has always had. The truth of it is that Tmobile is losing money and AT&T is one of the few companies that has the money to buy them. Nobody will loan Sprint the money as they lose money on anything they touch. D Telekom has said it needs to get rid of Tmobile and...

In no way is this even comparable to Verizon's buy out of any of the companies that it has bought. AT&T and tmobile are very large companies and are cell phone carriers nationwide alltel was much smaller and all the other companies that went by the way side were all regional (expect for alltel) the truth is when AT&T buys out tmobile cost will go up I mean look at the current bs we all have to deal with no that everyone has been putting limits in place for the data services things will not get better at this rate only worse for us the the consumers. Because the biggest joke on all of us is that 4g let is making data pretty much an unlimited resource but now strangely now is getting capped for no reason other than the greed of the cell phone...

Data caps were inevitable. 4G does not allow for unlimited data use, just faster. Although on a larger scale, the same principal idea applies, as WiFi. If you have too many people using data for various reasons all at once, you get congestion. Unlimited data was fine, when people were only using their phones for checking email or quick info gathering from the internet. Now, people are streaming videos, music, online games and tethering, just to name a few data hogging uses. With everyone essentially walking around with a computer in their pocket, did you really expect this not to happen?

The caps are 100% greed take up all you want your making excuses for the carriers there is no way data is costing that much and if it is it's the networks problem it's called expand and keep up with the demand when you can control the supply how could there be a problem kinda like AT&T saying they need to buy out tmobile and they are not using all they have right now so keep believing all these lies because that are being told.

You are ignorant, as time continues and population and technology increases/advances there are limits placed on vast majority of services. Caps only effect people who are abusing the ability. Speed limits ect ect Speed limits dont effect the average commuter driving safely, however it does put a damper on people who are nuts and want to do 120 every place. Should the roads be more dangerous (or internet more congested) just because of that small ammount of people?

I'm pretty sure that if the doj were "owned by Verizon" they wouldn't be suing to block this merger.

That is correct. Verizon does want this merger because 1) it removes a low pricing competitor, 2) hastens the duopoly, 3) paves the way for Verizon to take over Sprint.
