Inaccurate Review...

The phone uses a 1.2ghz dual core processor, not 1.0ghz like the reviewer states.

Also, many of the Sprint apps CAN be uninstalled. Sprint has listened to the customers complaining about unneeded bloatware and they have provided the option to be able to uninstall many of the apps that are included in the phone.

Also, there is no way this phone can be called heavy when at 4.60 oz is is much lighter than many other smartphones on the market.... perhaps lighter than 70 percent of the smartphones on the market. ie. Iphone 4, Evo 3D, Photon, Droid Bionic, etc.

The app *data* can be removed, but the bloatware icon in the menu cannot be removed. As far as I am concerned, if I still have to stare at the icon in my app tray, the app is still there.

The phone feels heavy to me. I understand that is a subjective judgement.

"Heavy" isn't subjective. You can weigh and thus objectively report the results.

Yeah I have read a couple of reviews by this guy and it seems as though many people discount his reviews as he is typically inaccurate and in my opinion misleading. Not sure why they keep this clown around. Basically if I see his name I don't read it because it is useless.

Personally, I value a clowns opinion more than most of phone scoops forum members 🤣

Keep him around...he's funny sometimes 🤣

I disagree.

Eric and I have both held a lot of phones, as that's our job. We regularly handle phones for the explicit purpose of reporting on how they "feel".

I know from experience that it's about a lot more than weight. It's about density, which is the ratio of weight to size. Comparing two phones of exactly the same weight, the larger one will feel lighter, because it's less dense. Density can convey a feeling of quality, while less-dense phones can feel "cheap", but of course a light-feeling phone has its own advantage, namely that you won't mind holding it up for long periods of time. Materials also play a serious role in how a phone feels in hand.

As this is a relatively thin phone, it feels a bit heavier (more dense) than a t...

Actually density is the relation of MASS to size and not weight to size. Nice hair splitting incorrect attempt to stand up for you bud.

Sorry. Yes, mass. (Although unless you plan on using this phone somewhere other than Earth, that's a rather pointless distinction and doesn't address my point at all.)

Well my 10 year old understood the difference between mass and weight. I guess if you did not understand what I was saying then not much I can respond to. Good luck with your "feelings".

The LG Marquee is less than four ounces, so yes, compared to the lighter phones on the market, this feels heavier, because it is heavier.

Weight should be a comparison to phones that are comparable to the epic touch 4g.

The LG Marquee is significantly smaller at 4".

Compared to the Photon, Evo, Evo 3D, and other high end/large screen phones, the Epic Touch 4G is a lot lighter.
