Goodbye Sprint

Goodbye Sprint; yeah we know you're getting the iPhone, but you are just like the other carriers now with all your restrictions and "goodies" you're taking away. Beside the unlimited data plan, why should we stay with you when your prices and practices are just like the other big 2 and they have better networks.

So later Sprint!

Well I don't trust Consumer Reports no more than a snake oil salesman. They make up their stuff.

They've been caught faking results more than once...

But the real problem with Consumer Reports isn't deliberately falsified studies (which, given how long the magazine has been in publication has not happened all that many times) but rather their bias.

There can be no doubt that CR tends to 'go easy' on brands they like, but are a lot harder on brands they dislike. And they hold grudges, long ones. A company makes one bad product....and CR is on their ass for everything they make from that moment on, whether it is justified or not (and usually it isn't.)

Can you site specific examples where they faked results? If what you're saying is true, then wouldn't their shining review of Sprint run contrary to this? If they tend to be hard on brands they've seen issues with in the past, then Sprint should still be residing in their ratings locker.

Actually, the last consumer reports thing where AT&T was ranked bottom and Sprint and T-Mobile were ranked near the top had a ton of articles on workers doing the surveys who had been approached by Sprint and T-Mobile representatives and given goodwill "gifts", now I cant find any of the articles anywhere even though I know they existed because I'd read three or four of them about a week after the Consumer Reports stats went public.

You cannot site specific articles and you expect the entire Phonescoop community to simply take you at your word? I'm sorry, but in the anonymous world of internet chat rooms where no one has a reputation to protect, that won't cut it. T-Mobile came in 4th behind US Cellular, Verizon & Sprint, so I doubt very seriously they offered gifts to wind up near the bottom this year.

I saw the report they did several years ago on exploding gas tanks and SUV's tipping over. It was all rigged. That's the proof I have. And I've been on all 3 of the phone networks, so I know first hand the other 2 networks are better.
