AT&T Rolls Out New GoPhone Options
Nice try....
(MetroPCS) 500 voice minutes and unlimited messaging for $20 a month.
I think the numbers speak for themselves quite clearly. 🙂
If I wanted to roam in Canada at .39/minute or international calling, I would unlock the phone and get an international SIM for the international traveling and calling.
Being AT&T does not necessarily mean it is going to be better.
Take an extra minute to look at it on the MetroPCS website and you would see that they are not only on the east coast.
Then you can really speak for "yourself". 😉
...but nevertheless Metro PCS does NOT provide nation wide coverage, I know because I seriously considered switching when I lived in Orlando, Florida....then looking at that coverage map I discovered I would have no coverage in vast parts of the country that I regularly visit...not acceptable...
They also have zero coverage where I live right now....which is pretty decisive I think.
I think in the wireless industry, it is fairly safe to assume that you do indeed pay for what you get.
And I have a friend who has MetroPCS, she says she'd switch to AT&T, or any other carrier, in a heartbeat if she could afford to. She gets awful service with them in Florida, which by their own coverage map should be one of their best areas, and calls it "illegal immigrant phone service." All I've also heard several different people refer to it as "Metro Piece of S***", for further comparison.
Not slamming on them, just saying... you pay for what you get. If you want to pay less and get...

That is why before you go with any carrier check the plans vs. coverage and which more practical in the long term.
Affordability is priority for many people and that is why MetroPCS is out there.
The ignorants that come out with the "GhettoPCS" and Metropieceof!!@X just goes to prove if there is something they do not like, it's easier to throw names than to use what little brain life gave them.
Yes AT&T has better coverage. If the other carrier has none in a necessary area then by all means go with the carrier that has the coverage. Again "coverage" has Coverage maps to check before making the decision.
