and lets see how sprint launches new networks w/o partners lolx. Launching and expanding WiMax with other partners was a big failure and this will be the same. VZW proves that building it themselves is the deal yo!
Hmm, yea... if only it happened that way. Verizon built their LTE network at lightning fast speeds using regional affiliates (other partners) and stitching it all together as one nationwide coverage map under the red flag. Very much the same way Sprint built their nationwide PCS network, leading to many affiliate court cases and eventually having to buy out each and every one of them over the next 15 years. Verizon is still working the affiliates like mules, but when its all done and they feel like they got the sh*t end of the stick, expect to see VZW making quiet, small purchases too. Bottom line, Nobody does it alone anymore, and any way you try and slice it, these types of partnerships in wireless tend to end badly in most cases... Though I will give you that Sprint has a knack for screwing them up very publicly.
