Review: LG Chocolate

Well done, Eric.

We have one of these here in my office, and if anything I would say that Eric was too kind. Not inaccurate, mind you, just too nice about it.

To me the Chocolate is just a fashion accessory. I find the keys difficult to use at best because of the lack of tactile response, and I also found them to be less responsive than those on our 1st-generation S710a (with its notoriously laggy key response). I also find it impossible to use with one hand because all of the controls - particularly the keypad when the device is open - are too low. I have admittedly large hands, but a co-worker with small hands had the same problem with the control placement.

I would recommend avoiding the Chocolate if you're concerned about functionality and are looking for a high-tech mobile solution.

However, if you're looking for an eye-catching fashion accessory, it would be hard to beat the Chocolate.

It *looks* great. But so does the Elle GlamPhone.
