BlackBerry 9930 Hits Verizon's Web Site for $249
$249 for a smaetphone that isn't LTE?!!!?
Like I said in my original post, RIM has been falling off a cliff for the past 18 months, so yeah, good luck RIM.
I'm curious...If you add LTE which would cut the battery life in half making it level with Android phones would this be considered a major victory for RIM?
Even Apple is staying away from "4G" at the moment.
That being said, I am actually glad RIM or even Apple aren't the first on the block with every feature like LTE. Both are pretty concerned with power management and a lot of 4G Android users are married to their wall chargers.
The OS will be obsolete within 6 months. Developers won't bother writing apps for this platform. RimJob is showing its true colors. The 4.7OS, around for almost a year and truly pathetic, is indicative of a company that has no clue!
A smartphone can't be much more of a rip off than this, no LTE, same old BB design, feom a xompany that gas been falling off a steep cliff for the past 18 months.
No need to get so excited. This phone will mainly appeal to corporations--who get it at a steeply reduced price...sometimes as low as $99 per unit.
