Google to Acquire Motorola for $12.5 Billion

I could see them keeping the name the same, this is just an acquisition for Google, as stated primarily for the patents (think of this as an air raid shelter). their locked in a death struggle with crApple who is naturally litigious, suing the pants off of everyone in sight in order to stifle competition. time will tell of course but this seems to have been in the works for a very short period of time; i wonder what the trigger was to get the deal done, they must have been talks with Moto all along.
