AT&T Inks MVNO Deal with Sprint, Plans W-Fi Phones
A little faster than I expected...
AT&T needs to offer that kind of bundling to compete with SBC, Verizon and Sprint (and I'm not talking about wireless). AT&T had that kind of deal with AT&T Wireless (even though they were separate companies) and they need a way to continue it.
A lot of these bundling deals are aimed at businesses, who would never in a million years go the prepaid route (unless the pricing were dramatically different).
