Why would anyone want to buy the same phone over again that you bought 2 years ago? Sure a different operating system, with some upgrades, but the phones look the same, screens are small...text is so tiny that no person can read them, phones are a new version of the ones people already have.........deja vu all over again ..........people want something new..not the same phone they bought last time.
Come on RIM, you re a great company, but get some imagination.

Same screen size and same look and same OS with updates. Not to say I don't like the iPhone, but just saying. RIM had the same approach as apple with the we own our hardware and software and make the same phone with minor changes because why change what's working and what people love. Rim went wrong because they didn't keep their brand refreshed and exciting like Apple does with their advertisements. Apple has created a name for itself that its exciting to be apart of even if you are buying the same phone over and over again, unlike RIM whose name became associated with cheapness (like the old ford escorts) you seen them all over the place but it wasn't necessarily "Cool" to have one like it was working for Apple with their Millions if not b...

I agree with that. Cutting edge tech is really in the Android phones. They are introduced every minute.
Apple just sort of catches up spec wise every year in a lot of areas, but it has some very strong points...the"cool factor" and they just work well for many people. Any of apples products do. One reason why they have a cult following.

2009: iPhone 3Gs Screen Size: 320x480 (highest when introduced)
2010 iPhone 4 Screen Size: 640x960 (highest when introduced)

Seems to me like a major change.
