While being cool, it's a pretty big waste. It's not like they will have a SWAT team deploy to your GPS coords. It's likely a, "we'll see you next week at work, dress nicely" thing.

Actually, my source at Coca-Cola tells me they expect it to take a few hours. I assume they have an arrangement with Chevy where someone from the local Coke office will just drop by the nearest Chevy dealership and pick one up... or something like that.
What's interesting is that you don't have to stay still - you just have to carry the can with you after you press the button, so they can track you down.
I think the idea is that people can plan someplace special to be when they push the button. Maybe because ...

That would be funny to give it to a friend who is about to be deployed to Iraq... and have him or her hit the GPS button while activly engaged in combat 😛
