When it came time for my parent's to get new phones, they both decided on a pantech breeze, the original model. The phones work great, have awesome battery life, call clarity is good and they are easy for them to use since neither one of them are "techies".
They will be due for a renew in a few months and will probably go with the new model since the old model worked so good.
As for the three buttons below the display, one of the selling features since they don't need to find their glasses to use the phone!
Remember, just because it isn't for you, doesn't mean it can't be useful for others
