Trust me, I'm sitting here with the Samsung Charge wondering the same thing.

I've got the Droid Charge too, but to me there aren't any exciting, stand out features that Gingerbread brings. I was more excited about the Froyo update, that brought the ability to store apps to sd, to me, that was a big deal. But nothing that Gingerbread brings is all that big of a deal to me.

Well I have the EP1F build and it has new builds from Samsung for the Wifi, 3G, and 4G LTE radios. There is an improvement for me on both 3G and 4G LTE signal. Also it does improve battery life as well.
