Verizon's Tiered Data Goes Into Effect July 7
Switching to Sprint
Also, have a look at how the subscriber additions are slowing. Does capping have something to do with that?

The smart ones will defect when their i-Phone contracts come up.

Except those with unlimited data plans are grandfathered with them with new phones and contracts. Same is going to be true with VZW.
And your final delusional statement is odd, since both AT&T and VZW have picked up more customers each quarter then Sprint and TMO.
With the popularity and rise of smartphones, I have opted to start a counseling business as a side job to help people make the right choices for their wireless needs. Nothing serious, but something to entertain my passion for phones. Hundreds and even thousands of dollars are spent by individuals every year for phone services. Since I do not work for a carrier or obtain perks from a carrier, I am honored to offer unbiased views and info.
When I am approached for my services, I have some very important questions I ask. Most of these very important questions are never asked by carriers. There is a good reason why.
So far in the 3 months I have ...

Just remember, I replied to a statement which the previous poster put forth. If I proposed it at first, you would be 100% correct.
BTW, I wish you good luck with your business. And I hope your clients get the benefits of your advice.
However, I will say that I have had clients ask me what carrier I use. Even then, I refrain from extensive information.

Out of curiosity, what do you charge people for your services? it seems like whatever savings you think shuffling people over to Sprint would give your clients wouldn't be massive savings, and wouldn't give you much margain to slurp off of. ....yeah.......slurp.
Oh, and FYI - THAT is not why carrier reps don't like you. Your inane prattling and pretentious posts are why they don't like you, boner.
I think my post was candid, concise and unbiased. I entertain an experimental startup business, and you seem to take offense. I don't own stock in any wireless industry company nor do I work for such. And I don't get paid much for the services I'm offering. This is just a hobby to try. Full time, I am a 50 year old service technician for restaurant equipment and have a passion for the wireless business. My 24 years of being a consumer of the wireless business and learning about the business, allows me to express my knowledge, views and thoughts. I like Sprint but am free to roam for others if I feel I am not treated fairly. My maturity also allows me the common sense to separate my business interests from...

Thank you for your prompt reply. My deepest and most heartfelt apologies for not responding to your reply in a quick fashion. I was busy, and honestly forgot I replied to you in the first place.
To answer your question, "What is the problem", I take issue with many things. Such as why "blue raspberry" is a flavor for anything when raspberries aren't in fact blue, nor have I ever tasted a raspberry with the overpowering sweetness and tartness of scrots. I mean seriously, John. it's like someone put sugar and squirted lemon juice into a pan of hotdog water. Have you ever boiled hotdogs, thrown out the hotdogs and sipped the water. You know what I'm talking about.
I would hardly qualify my reply as an attack. I consider it...

Now that you have established a more articulate, mature choice in vocabulary for expressing an opinion, don't you feel better knowing your response this time around is far more intelligent than the first one towards me? It allows me a more respectable view of your thoughts.
There are several things we have concluded here. Even though we have careers outside of the wireless industry, we both have a passion for it. We also have some descention towards carrier reps and we both feel hotdogs are far better cooked on a grill.
My personal respect goes to you for the continued effort to study how our world has evolved and how you tolerate weather better suited for Emporer Penguins.

BTW, I don't like Rasberries.
I stated that I have initiated a legitimate business that helps consumers with making their own rational decisions and many times the larger carriers are not for them. This is not an opinion open for debate. It is fact.
Please try again.

I wish I could elaborate more on this concept business. But I think you understand the secretive aspects currently.
People are more likely to trust me over a carrier rep. However, I would like the carrier reps to know that this idea of mine could quite possibly make their jobs much easier. My clients will hopefully have all the knowledge they need and be fully engaged in the carrier of their choice. They will walk in, purchase their products and leave. The Rep still retains a commission with less time and questions asked. The susbscriber will be more confident in their purchase.

In the coming years, there will be no such thing as unlimited data access on any service, wireless or hard-line, any more. It will all be metered out, at ever increasing costs, and with ever increasing controls and tracking, to everyone... information rationing!
Don't think Sprint wont pull this crap either. They may give you all you can eat WiMAX at the moment but the coverage stinks anyway. If you think they wont implements caps with their LTE you're sadly mistaken. T-Mo has caps too now so it's only a matter time before Sprint jumps on the bandwagon
"Assuming this has anything to do with it at all."
It doesn't. Verizon and AT&T pretty much ignore what Sprint and T-Mobile do for the most part. Their only competition is one another.
John B.
We've also got the problem of contracts. When consumers are free to choose, often they'll choose what's in their best interest.
John B.
But still not the same, if I walk in with an EVO, unless I sign for 2 years, they won't give me service. But hey, all of these guys have issues, I guess thats minor compared to other things.
As it stands, their no risk trial is pretty good in allowing one to taste before purchasing.
John B.
We've argued before, but this may surprise you, if I was to go to a CDMA carrier, it would be Sprint.
We do not argue. We discuss logically, and at times disagree with one another's assessments on a matured level.

On the other hand, Verizon is about to launch new calling and family data plans.
So...you are replying to a Verizon fanboy so what does AT&T's "joke of a data/4g network" have to do with it?
i have a really good price,
the apps that come bundled with the EVO like navigation is AWESOME!!!
tether with easy tether ( awsesome )
basically the only thing i dont like about sprint is lack of 4g Coverage ( honestly i can wait ) .. i dont even mind paying 10 dollars for premium data ,,,.. its a premium phone and all works excellent .. i am super impressed
lets all join sprint and let the competition begin
