Supporting more bands makes a phone compatible with more networks, not less. Since no one else uses CDMA in that band, that simply makes that mode irrelevant to whether it's compatible with other networks. This phone is no more or less compatible with other CDMA networks than any other Sprint phone.

But, like all Sprint phones, it's not easy to use with a different carrier. That's true for nearly all US phones, though. Whether they support different bands, or they're locked, or whatever, most US phones are designed just for one US carrier.

There's nothing to say Samsung won't introduce a very similar phone for Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile, but they've only really done that with their flagship Galaxy S series so far.
