old recipes, same old result?

The Google+ project stirs the leftovers in the SNS pot, hoping to find an enchanting new recipe.
Until they bundle some slick new technologies that create new social behaviors while integrating better with users' daily lives, Google stands to be left behind, again, and risk becoming the next RIM.
Time to partner up, Google, and leverage your considerable muscle by getting you and your search users inside the thought bubbles of everyone you can see.
Cheers,
timo

in this one instance I think you are correct, but to compare google to RIM ? That is a laugh. The kinds of technologies that google comes out with, the sheer innovation in doing what users want, and want fast, they are number one. When RIM was releasing the same phone over and over, google was releasing the Nexus one, and then the Nexus S. have you even looked at their headquartes on google earth, or read about what goes on there?

"create new social behaviors"? How about existing in the REAL WORLD!!! Facebook isn't the REAL WORLD. People are more virtual than REAL these days, it's sad and pathetic.

Are you sure? Maybe Jayshmay is his actual nickname that his actual friends call him. If that is true, not only is your statement null and void, but his statement is validated.

Also, With world of warcraft now being FREE up to level 20, the world, my friends, is over.

I agree with Jayshmay. People live virtual lives in a virtual world that doesnt even exist. What would we do without our connectivity and the internet? What if EMPs wiped out all electronics ? Would we cease to exist becuase all the 16 year olds cant login to their WoW accounts?
