This is a true 4G
I can't find article but I read LTE-A and Wimax 2 are true 4G

WiMax Release 2 probably won't ever happen.
And I will be shocked if LTE-A happens by 2013. That's around the time that Verizon intends to be finished deploying LTE across it's current 3G network.

As long as average speeds exceed 100Mbps yes it will be 🙂

It's true that the LTE-A tests did post speeds almost at 1 Gbps, however there is a very large misconception here. The US standard for available bandwidth is 10Mhz and the global maximum is 20Mhz. This LTE-A test used 60Mhz of available spectrum, and it also used an 8X8 MIMO (multiple input/output) which would be network dependent, so it would be up to the individual networks that want LTE-A to change / upgrade their networks accordingly. LTE-A is the next step in long-term evolution so it will be no problem at all for carriers to upgrade from LTE to LTE-A. Also, whoever thinks that LTE-A will not be ready by 2013 will probably be mistaken. This technology exists and can be easily upgraded to, and carriers can charge more for LTE-A data,...

I'm pretty happy with current LTE speeds, 15+mbps. I just wish I had a dual-core smartphone so that web pages would load FASTER! ! !
