Sorry about the quality

Thanks to Amtrak, I was a full 90 minutes late for the event last night. That didn't leave me with as much time as I had hoped with the new phones. That's why there aren't as many details or photos as we usually try to put in our In Depth articles.

Also, my Canon camera is busted, so I was stuck with my crappy backup camera. That's why the photos aren't quite as good quality as we usually strive for.

I hope the article still provides some useful info and eye candy for folks.

Please feel free to ask questions.

Thanks rich, I enjoyed it still, even though there's not many pics or info. It still helps give an idea of what these phones will look like and/or offer.

We've received our dummy phones, and the katana clicks when opened. That old sanyo click is something I've started to miss. Ahh, refreshing that it's back (sarcastic), too bad that usually means cracked hinges.

Our dummy feels cheap too with the plastic on the outside but dummies usually do.

White katanas exclusive to radio shack? They are in our (sprint corporate retail store) inventory systems, usually meaning that corporate stores will carry them, if only in limited quantities.

...of the Katana?

There are pics of it next to the Samsung A900. That was the closest reference we could find on the spot.

The ones in the article were the only new ones on display. Other phones at the table were existing models, like the LG Fusic, Sanyo 3100, etc.
