Apple Amends Complaint Against Samsung
Who buys Samsung phones?
That's the quote of the day, sir.
Kudos.

Samsung phones are almost unanimously terrible- they tend to quit after about getting 80% of the design right. From back in the days of feature phones that lacked proper T9 implementation to the Google-advised-against-this Galaxy Tab.
So true. I always hated SamSUCK. They always fall short on something. These days they just make pretty screens. Other than that, it's the typical cheap plastic build quality as usual, etc. TouchWiz is horrible. If I wanted iOS, I'd buy an iPhone. They need to stop copying Apple and be more innovative.
It is true some devices tend to be "identical" in appearance. Apple and others should be flattered at the resemblance.
Like Samsung or not, great products and innovation in technology. There are other great manufacturers out there as well.
I love the fact Samsung Electronics largest customer is Apple. Apple uses Samsung's components in their phones, iTouch(s) and computers.
I also think that Samsung and many other carriers tend to build cheap quality phones, knowing that the "Majority" of people will upgrade their phone in 2 years. Which is not really a bad strategy, because why spend all this money on making a phone last 5 to 8 years when people are going to throw it away before 2?
iPhones, that I see are very durable and made from quality material, but where does that really put them?
Like I said most people only want/need for their phone to last close to 2 years and they are on to the next anyw...

But I just want to ask, what do people mean by restricted on the iPhone? What is it that you can not do on your iPhone that you can do other phones? Other than flash and customize your background (which I think is a little corny but thats probably cuz I'm a guy)
I don't have an iPhone, I have a LG Rumor 2 lol but I do have an iPod touch and it literally does everything I need it to do, and it has for years! Very durable and I love the battery life btw.
Video chat is whack to me anyways, its just a extra gimmick cell makers throw in their just to say their phone has it, to help with sales. Technology is not their yet to have good quality at the cheap price they cell phone makers are willing to spend on dual camera's to put into cell phones while keeping the price low, so to me its just not really something I would use. I have a chat camera on my laptop and I swear I've only used it like twice, cuz my girlfriend made me, meh.
I see that most of the complaints (I don't mean this in any negative manner, but just being truthful) are the people who love to cut corners and get freeb...

Don't think I'm Apple hating here...i-Phone brought us to where we are...the thing is the market is past i-Phone now and this is just...sour apples.
as a verizon rep, the only people who i sell iphones to are ones that don't want to hear why android is better and just want the iphone to say they have one and look cool. i think android is a smarter choice, and apple needs to quit being babies and get on the android wagon.
That doesnt make any sense. You're really starting to sound subjective on the two choices.
Its going to come down to personal choice. You can not say one is better than the other for other people, and as a sales rep that is messed up. Ppl come to you, and you should say first thing first, tell me what it is you want in a phone, then recommend a phone to their likings, not your own subjective likings because you hate apple, or vice versa for the apple fan boys. That is nonsense.
A customer say they don't care about customization, they just want a prod...

this discussion, anyways, is about how apple is suing samsung. now if i were to create an internet browser, and it became used nationwide or even globally, and lets say i decided to put the exit, minimize, and maximize buttons on the top left corne...

Saying that apple has their paws on every app, doesn't really tell me or anyone how or why that is bad? Them having tight control over their store still says nothing about how you feel about the quality of the apps and the fact they have the most apps. So who cares how "They" treat the "Developers"? as long as the consumers are getting the quality product. So that is a good reason as a app developer to dislike apple but not a reasonable excuse for a consumer, so I can't accept that one.
The battery life is super good for a smart phone. And these days you have those wireless charging case things if its that bad of an issue, but I do see y...

Seriously, pick up an iPhone and pick up Samsung's finest hardware and tell me the materials or workmanship is even comparable. It's not.
Next tell me one advance Samsung has ever made to the software on phones. All they've managed to do is make Android worse.
Third, Sprint's return rate on the Epic 4G is between 25 and 40%.
Just because Rovers used Honda engines doesn't mean they were as nice as Hondas.

I'm sorry, did I ever indicate that it wasn't? I know it's Samsung's components. In fact, can you find a single post where I denied Apple used Samsung components, or was blissfully ignorant?

Wait a minute... if we make the verbs in your sentence present-tense and use your metaphor; engines = components, iPhone = Rover, and Samsung = Honda... then your sentence becomes, "Just because iPhones use Samsung components doesn't mean they are as nice as Samsungs."
Hahaha! HAH!!! 😁
