I don't like iOS either. Apple has mastered the technique of making minimal changes to an older product, renaming it by increasing its edition number, and then unleashing it upon their frantic, loyal customers who are frothing at the mouth in a long line waiting at the doors of the nearest mobile phone store after having camped out overnight to try to be the first to get their hands on the "latest and greatest"... usually ready to throw down about $200 or more and sign a two-year contract in the process. All of the other manufacturers are catching on, too, and trying to do the same.

However, as much as I dislike the iPhone, and all other things iOS or OS X, they have met unparalleled success in the business. They are possibly the numbe...

Both these platforms have a chance for revival. WebOS is hands down the best format I have used on any phone. HP is an enormous company with high volume dollars to back up their newly acquired asset. If they can keep a quality partnership with developers and an app line, they can definitely bring some viability to this OS.

RIM has always made a solid, stable platform. Quality hardware coupled with software operations has been their stronghold. Unfortunately, Their ability to acknowledge a new marketable ecosystem, has faltered. However, if they quickly dismantle the management at corporate levels and start producing refreshing new products in conjunction of market, they could...
