NFC vs TouchStone Technology

by JestaMcMerv    Jun 13, 2011, 8:09 AM

I know those are buzzwords but I recall reading about touchstone using a slightly lower frequency and power than NFC.

If this is the case I'm curious as to if the Pre3 was delayed to incorporate some new TouchStone/NFC tech. That is most likely wishful thinking as I doubt they'd ever change a product so late to final spec.

I think both of these technologies have mass appeal as I'd love to be able to data with friends by just touching NFC enabled devices together.
