Not sure if this is a political ploy but why does a agency as powerful as the FCC need this info from carriers? Everyone except the psychos at ATT and their shareholders know this is bad for the American consumer. 😳

My question is how did the FCC get this powerful? It's just an annoyance bleeping curse words and controlling our every move. They are useless from a consumer standpoint.

I say get rid of the FCC and have America take a vote. Yes or No. Just check a box.

If you get rid of the FCC, we would have chaos in everything wireless. Microwaves would be frying our brains, you would get interference from just about everything, homeowners associations would go back to prohibiting outdoor antennas and satellite dishes while taking payoffs from cable companies..

I will be pissed at them if they let that merger go through..

There would be a mess in commercial and public broadcasting. Both radio and TV. I have no problem with the FCC but would like it if this part (and other parts of government) would get out of the way of people and business.

If this merger was allowed it would dramatically change the landscape of the wireless marketplace. It would pave the way and give precident for a Verizon-Sprint merger or a Sprint-Metro PCS merger. Creating only a few large companies in any industry is a very bad thing. It would end affordable wireless service crested by competition. Has banking gotten any beter now that there are only a few major banks and many small banks on the brink? Washington Mutual was a much better bank than Chase is.
Allow consolodation of the wireless industry and you lock many out of postpaid because of their credit standards. They won't relax them.
