AT&T to Snap Up Convergys Assets for $320 Million
Cool... the city I live in.
AT&T already owns the majority of the shares. This just changes it from "Convergys" to "AT&T". They already *use* the assets, they just arent reportable as company owned despite all but owning them anyways.
We go from
'at&t sucks, they had better do something to improve the quality of their network'
And then when they try to acquite more spectrum to be able to do that it's
'You're too greedy, how dare you try to improve the quality of your network, the network is already good enough it doesn't need to get better'
I've been with AT&T for a long time, and I'm friggin' happy they are building their network, getting high end phones (other than the iphone) and really attempting to have the best network available. It's about damn time. Kudos, AT&T.
You guys live in a world of sunshine and gum balls, this is business pure and simple, you grow, you buy if you can. None of these companies could care less about you.

Sprint owns a tons of spectrum they don't use, its funny how nobody says anything, just another double standard. I'm sure the same holds true with VZW.
What is "funny" is that you keep posting this misinformation, then ignoring requests for hard evidence.
Can you produce any facts? Or are you just talking out of your ass?

Added Marsh: “The fact is that Sprint/Clearwire’s combined spectrum position far surpasses AT&Ts current holdings and will be deeper than AT&T’s holdings post-transaction."

Sprint has more spectrum than any other carrier and, in the long run, this makes them number one. Currently, Sprint is only using a small portion of their available spectrum

“Keep in mind that Sprint is a 54 % owner of Clearwire, so it not only has access to its own near-nationwide portfolio of PCS spectrum, but it also has access to Clearwire’s spectrum holdings as well – which is the spectrum supporting Sprint’s 4G products and services," Marsh wrote.
