What do you mean "now this."

AT&T already owns the majority of the shares. This just changes it from "Convergys" to "AT&T". They already *use* the assets, they just arent reportable as company owned despite all but owning them anyways.

I just love the double standard and inconsistency from at&t critics....

We go from

'at&t sucks, they had better do something to improve the quality of their network'

And then when they try to acquite more spectrum to be able to do that it's

'You're too greedy, how dare you try to improve the quality of your network, the network is already good enough it doesn't need to get better'

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I've been with AT&T for a long time, and I'm friggin' happy they are building their network, getting high end phones (other than the iphone) and really attempting to have the best network available. It's about damn time. Kudos, AT&T.

I think the aspect of the arguement that you are failing to recognize is the fact that AT&T already owns a ton of specturm that they aren't using. I'm all about them improving the network quality for thier customers, but use the spectrum you already own before making it an excuse to buy out your only major GSM competitor. That is why it's greedy.

Sprint owns a tons of spectrum they don't use, its funny how nobody says anything, just another double standard. I'm sure the same holds true with VZW.

You guys live in a world of sunshine and gum balls, this is business pure and simple, you grow, you buy if you can. None of these companies could care less about you.

What is "funny" is that you keep posting this misinformation, then ignoring requests for hard evidence.

Can you produce any facts? Or are you just talking out of your ass?

Yeah, Versed "got served" and, in response, cannot muster one iota of evidence to substantiate his/her libelous assertions. Versed is a coward of a poster.

“Keep in mind that Sprint is a 54 % owner of Clearwire, so it not only has access to its own near-nationwide portfolio of PCS spectrum, but it also has access to Clearwire’s spectrum holdings as well – which is the spectrum supporting Sprint’s 4G products and services," Marsh wrote.

Added Marsh: “The fact is that Sprint/Clearwire’s combined spectrum position far surpasses AT&Ts current holdings and will be deeper than AT&T’s holdings post-transaction."

And more.

Sprint has more spectrum than any other carrier and, in the long run, this makes them number one. Currently, Sprint is only using a small portion of their available spectrum

Yes, I have said that about the 2.5ghz spectrum, but its penetration issues is valid.. I posted that Sprint and Clear were sleeping on spectrum, in fact Clear was thinking of selling some. All I have to say is that you toss hate on AT&T for sitting on spectrum, I never doubted that. Its that other carriers do the same, and don't see the hate there. Be it 2.5 or 850 or what have you. I could care less if they need or don't need more spectrum.

And honestly I don't care what grade BS crap you give me, wither you like or dislike the posts. I did show you the information. All carriers, are doing this. Well the major one's. So when your done with your rhetoric, go back to your mall Kiosk job as night shift manager at the T-Mobile r...

No joke. I never said AT&T cares about me. I pay them, they let me upgrade every two years or so. Pretty simple transaction. If I wasn't happy with AT&T I'd go to some other corporate monster.

It's all the same.

It also had nothing to do with what you just said. You know what else it has nothing to do with... Big League Chew. Are we talking about that? No.

You see, there's this thing that happens in conversations and/or threads online. The topic tends to evolve into another topic and so on. Sooooo... now I want Big League Chew.
