a little hard to believe it will cover 90% of the country. That's alot of country!
...
They usually go by the percentage of the population covered, not physical area. Yes, probably because they realized that this allows them to use bigger numbers.
...
I agree, they'll use population stats instead of land area stats.
Still, why don't they finish covering the country with 3G?
...
lol. Yeah, that's like the oldest trick in the book. Verizon uses it as well. It's just a marketing thing. I feel like Bill Hicks on marketing people. Youtube it.
...
Marketing trick? Yes, kinda. But at the same time its more accurate isnt it? How often to ppl travel to where there are no ppl? Telling me a phone will work almost everywhere there are ppl is clear enough for me.
...
I travel all over the country as a trucker so to me, yeah: it's kinda lying. I'm not in one city long enough to care if they have 10 or 20 cities with 4G--they've been promising me that their entire Edge network would be 3G for 5 years.

Yeah, but unlike AT&T's 4G system that STILL doesn't exist any place other than on paper and in ads for another year or 2, Verizon's 4G IS UP AND RUNNING in major metropolitan markets NOW.

Yes, and good for VZW for doing it. If you followed the Sprint cry baby theory, they should be forced to sell of spectrum and slow down deployment because the two nitwits can't deploy anymore crappy WiMAX then they have now, or have in the last 8 or so months.
VZW probably already came close to what Sprint and Clear have deployed in what 2 years, in a few months.
...
The dream land you draw your facts from must be an interesting place...smh.
...
Very, I see people crying and moaning about AT&T is doing this or that, or VZW is doing similar. Its not me in the dreamland, I understand exactly what they are doing and what corporate America or even the whole world for that matter. Many people think this is a sporting club, lets be fair this and that, well it isn't. So read my post just as that.
No company deserves this or that because we like or dislike them, it just doesn't work that way.
