sorry i read "dual core" and then "1.8 GHZ PER core"... does that mean its a 3.6 GHz processor?

no, but may be better than a 3.6 because the work is split between two processors instead of one being bogged down by a single app. Youll notice a difference when multi tasking for the most part which is what most of us techy people do with our phones now a days. 😎

No, it doesn't add up like that.

If you took two motorcycles, each with a top speed of 90 mph, and joined them together to make a "car", you'd be able to carry twice as many people as one motorcycle, but the top speed would still be 90 mph.

So a dual-core phone can "do more" and run certain things faster, but technically speaking , nothing is actually happening at 3.6 GHz.
