This just made me realize

That android is the only OS that i know of that supports 4g. Is this accurate? Why is that, do you think?

Web OS is 4G capable (The Veer is called '4G Veer'). As far as I know, even iOS is 4G capable, but Apple hasn't released a 4G phone due to network-related issues. (When introducing the iPhone4 they mentioned that they would rather stick to 3G until the 4G network has spread widely, becomes 100% reliable and radios become battery-friendly).

I Know Android Fanboys will soon start throwing their fiery darts 🤣

It seems to me that Android focuses more on getting stuff out quickly (and half-assed) where Apple is more concerned with making sure the stuff actually works well. Microsoft is just trying to catch up, and WebOS needs a better marketing strategy.

I'm hoping webOS can gain some market share; I haven't used it yet but it looks promising.

I downloaded Fede's Music App for Android - the Zune-like player not available in the Market place (Engadget Article) and I must say, Android and Apple better watch out. I was impressed and will definitely be looking at a WP7 when my upgrade comes around.

"4G" is a firmware issue, as far as GSM devices are concerned. The TRUE 4G companies, sprint, and verizon are at a bit of a disadvantage, because it's literally a different radio in their devices. With HSPDA+ They're simply opening up thier towers up for more through-put, and the correct modem firmware on both the samsung captivate and vibrant CAN PRODUCE 4G on devices that are only "3G capable" The reason android is so widely used, is the kernel. The Linux based back end of android makes more things possible than you may realize. Apple and Microshaft are behind the times with thier closed source code and in doing so are digging themselves a slow grave.
