This will cause them to make the iPhone more bigger which Apple does not want to happen anytime soon. maybe next year but Apple is not going to make that sacrifices just yet because they been trying to become slimmer. May by them slimming up the sim card it can help the iPhone stay slim when they do decide to make the iPhone 4G, but until then no luck in this happening no time soon. 😛
