Not all of us need 4G, or care that much about it. Personally, I would almost never use it, unless I was restoring apps from the Market or something. And with this phone, I wouldn't have to pay the extra for 4G, when they stop giving it away.

I agree, Gunslinger.

4G is not a deal maker/breaker for me right now. I have never used a 4G phone, nor personally witnessed it's download and upload speeds, as it stands, 3G is perfectly fine for my needs. Not to mention I am on a Wifi network 95% of my day, so my up/download speeds are plenty fast. I'm not downloading albums, movies, huge games etc to my phone. I download those to my computer, then sync them to my phone.

Aside from the fact that the LTE Network won't be available where I live for at least a year, I am very happy with Verizon's 3G speeds for the time being.

Plus VZW isn't pushng 4G so much as they are pushing smartphones. Now, there are 2 "upgrade" smartphones, Incredible 2 and Droid X2. There are reports of a Droid 3 coming as well.

Hmm, besides the dual core processor. It seems like the Incredible 2 is a better choice.

Front camera
World Capable

Don't understand why the X2 would not have these features. I understand about the 4g but the rest I am rather confused by.

Front camera is only useful in wifi or 4G which is why it is standard on the 4G phones. World capable is kinda cool. The exciting extra for me on the X2 is the Mirror Mode HDMi. Whatever is on your X2s screen is shown on your TV. Streaming movies, TV, or even games like Angry Birds.
