Have you actually owned/used one of these units?
I had the same opinion before I bought both a capivate and the epic.
JMO, but it's not the bigness of the phone as much as how big it feels. The original moto.vzw droid; to me felt "big" still does, as someone had one yesterday, and made me very happy with my captivate. The epic also feels big, but I like the keyboard, sometimes.
I can remember saying less than a year ago, I just couldn't see myself carrying a phone that big, and at that time, my smartest phone, was a centro, which felt big and small at the same time.
I briefly used a htc hero, and while it wasn't totally bad, moving to the bigger brighter screen of the galaxy phones was a one way trip. If you browse a lot, ...
