Who wants a "smallest" phone these days?

A phone with a bigger screen that you can actually SEE things on, in my opinion, would win hands down over this in any scenario.

The size of a credit card? Obviously, there's still a market for people who like small phones, no matter how pointless it may seem to those of us who don't.

Don't encourage him. He frequents the Lounge, and about 50% of his posts are an ASCII of the "IT'S A TRAP". It gets old.

There's always been a market for small phones. If it's something in your pocket at all times, size is always going to be a major issue for a lot of people.

Plenty of people think a 4.3-screen is huge and not pocket-friendly enough.

Frankly, I never thought huge-screen devices would be as popular as they are, but obviously there's a market for them. I think there's almost as big a market for very small phones that are still powerful. Of course the "Goldilocks" phone that balances everything in the middle is the sweet spot for most people. But phones are not one-size-fits-all, nor should they be.

Do that many people keep their phones in their pocket? Personally I have a holster on my belt.

And I agree with you that 4.3in is tooo big for a cell phone. Though I'd be ok with the 4 inch screen on the Epic. Every tenth of an inch counts.

It depends on where you live. Where I'm from, a holster would be nerdy. In other places, it could be a professional thing. At least the market I live in supports phones that fit in pockets easily.

Also remember: women don't put phones in holsters, but they put them in pockets.

I don't agree with any of that. I use a holster for accessibility. I just don't like keeping my smartphone in my pocket.

And I don't thing woman keep their phones in their pockets, they keey them in their perses.
