Guess what: you are incapable of becoming a serious competitor to other manufacturers without scrapping BB OS. Adopt Android and reap the profits.

I remember when I suggested that to my BB rep a few months ago. His response was that BB6 was Android. For a millisecond, I thought he literally meant that the new OS was a hybrid BB/Android OS or something awesomely cool like that. Sadly, he didn't.

And then I was like "lolwut?". RIM makes excellent hardware, but they cannot compete in the OS department. Perhaps I am just a myopic consumer, but can't we all agree that Apple and Google pretty much have the mobile operating system market by ...

No, iOS will not allow anybody to adopt their OS. LOL good try though, sounds good. So for that reason not to just have two OS's to chose from, we need BB OS and WPM to work

I'm sure glad you aren't RIM's CEO. RIM has MILLIONS of personal and commercial customers. MILLIONS. Why do away with what works? 'Serious competitor'? They're the original.
