I have at&t and they sux really they need to sell out to t-mobile or some other company there prices r to high also so fcc should listen to sprint. i wish sprint and us would combine and then at&t would have there hands full. but if they would to try fcc wouldnt let them. because them and everyone thinks at&t r the best i'm on the road a lot and i lose service more than i have it so take the 97 precent and make it 30.

Att was a total pain in the ass when I was using their services, double billing, outages, foreign customer reps who I couldn't understand over the phone, continued to bill me after I canceled their service. I will never do business with that company again. I like t-mobile and ill be sad to see them bought out buy such a incompetent company. Sprint im sure will attract a lot of disgruntled T-Mobile customers and is the only major carrier left with true unlimited data plans (no caps or throttling)

I agee that ATT's rates are high. I have ATT myself but, the only reason i would even consider going to Sprint or Tmobile is for cheaper rates. Neither carrier has better service in my opinion. Their service has become a lot better than what it was but, still not as good. Again, that's just me. I'm basing that from what I've know and heard from people I've known and know with these services. I would also add, as nice as 4G is, the battery life on smart phones need to increase dramatically. Its hard to get a full day out of most on 3G.....im in no hurry.

Thats been my thing, as much as theyre spending on fighting the merger, If I were Sprint's CMO or Hesse himself, I would launch a huge campaign offering my condolences to TMo customers while welcoming them with killer offers, im talking dedicating a whole department team and special deals to cater to them as though WE had just merged with TMobile and would like to keep all 32 mil subs! Such an opportunity squandered IMHO. oh well, nothing new there.

I disagree. Sprint should continue to do what it is doing. Believe it or not... What AT&T is proposing is ridiculous. There is a very good chance that this merger will be nixed. The more Sprint shines a light upon this...the greater that chance.

Sprint needs to mind their own damn business. They have their own fish to fry like...

Improving WiMAX coverage or rather converting over or implementing LTE. Better yet deciding what technology they plan on sticking with.

Revamping their marketing department cause it sure as hell sucks.

Converting iDEN subscribers over to CDMA as quickly and as smoothly as possible.

Figuring out how in the hell to get out of debt

etc., etc.

yes Spring should mind there own business... also people should understand a few things... first... AT&T mobility is not at@t wireless... you know for a fact that your issues were for the company I currently am employed by? hmm its funny every carrier has billing issues, dropped calls, tech issues ect... so its called customer service and I know for a fact ours has improved over 2010 and 2011... check the JD Power... Secondly there is a reason Spring has not reported a profit over the last... oh wait they havent in reported a positive profit margin in... oh like 5 years, and there customer service is hands down the worst...get transfered to tier 3 tech support 3 times in 1 month, and your no longer a good customer spring will cancel your ser...

HERE is the key, in this day and age, to marketing for carriers OTHER THAN the suck-@$$ ATT:

If you are INSIDE a building, you want your phone to work 100%. Whether that building is intact, crumbling around you due to fire or flood....or the building is totally destroyed and you are somewhere in the rubble.

ATT flat our sucks! Yes, I know GSM technology has a weakness when it comes to penetrating buildings.....but when your POS ATT phone sits on your desk and holds your papers down, its time to move on.

All monopoly issues aside....adding TMO will do little for ATT in terms of providing service that actually works and an end-user can RELY on.

They can take talk-and-surf and shove it....if you have no signal you can't do either!...

Funny, I have a signal, and inside buildings, has nothing to do with gsm weakness. It has to do with spectrum. 850 does better then 1900.

Wow, incoherent ramblings of a brainwashed fanboy.

Sprint has posted better customer service scores than AT&T for the past 2 years and is the ONLY carrier that has seen improvement over the last 7 quarters, according to your previously cited JD Power.

Next, if AT&T is so great why do they feel the need to block all side loading in android phones? Why do the feel the need to only offer 2gb of data to smart phones? Why are they consistently behind EVERYONE in phone innovation and why the hell do they need to copy VERIZON in order to change rate plans?

How is a major shift in the landscape of the American cell phone market not Sprint's business?? Oh i know..cuz you are retard..smh.

Doing some research would also show you that Sprint has plans for everything you said AND that Sprint has the least amount of debt of all the carriers.

Sprint being concerned over the merger, being against it is one thing. Sprint having access to confidential internal documents, is another. I'm sure they wouldn't open up their offices without a court order.

Again ill just copy and paste my other comment cuz its easier:

You realize thats why Sprints lawyers signed confidentiality agreements. They would see if there was any pertinent info, and only then would sprint actually see it. Which is a completely fair request.

I agree they did sign those agreements, but them not using it, is another story. Let Sprint argue on its merits of the case. Letting a competitor into internal documents is dangerous.

Stop crying. Sprint ISN'T going to do any such thing. They are going to fight and there is nothing that you or I can do to stop them.

---"Sprint needs to mind their own damn business. They have their own fish to fry."---

Since I am a consumer of the industry and not employed anywhere within the industry, I welcome any powerful image or entity to help fight for and preserve the well being and interests of the consumers such as myself. For this reason, I applaud the basis , merit and tenacity in which Sprint moves to remedy a potential duopolistic tragedy.

Verizon Communications Inc. will stop offering unlimited data plans for Apple Inc.’s iPhone as soon as this summer and switch to a tiered pricing offering that can generate more revenue and hold the heaviest users in check.
