The Android defense

I wonder if it'll work in court lol. "But your honor, Android does it too..." Good luck apple. As usual, they make excuses that have no merit and don't make any difference regarding their disrespect for customer privacy. Every time they cry about what other companies do, it makes them seem just like everybody else...

Where and when in this case did Apple say, "Android does it too?" That is what the editor said in the article not an apple spokesperson. So where are you coming up with this make belief? 🤣

Preciasely why it's important to pay attn to quotations in an article.

That's what I am saying... This is the defense that apple is trying to use in the "Court of Public Opinion." Jobs himself made this claim. My point is, their excuses might fool some people who see jobs on tv, but in court, it's irrelevant. Whatever Android does is not unrelated to apples case.

Are you serious? Please find me one article where Steve Jobs or Apple used "Google does it" as their defense.

All I ask is just one!!! Please find it for me and if you can not, then I think it's only right for you to delete your phonescoop account because post from this point forward will only be taken in jest and pure comedy and nothing more.

This is the supposed conversation through email..

"Reader: Steve,
Could you please explain the necessity of the passive location-tracking tool embedded in my iPhone? It's kind of unnerving knowing that my exact location is being recorded at all times. Maybe you could shed some light on this for me before I switch to a Droid. They don't track me.

Jobs: Oh yes they do. We don't track anyone. The info circulating around is false.

This hasn't been confirmed

Well, deleting himself because he speculates something is a bit much. Problem when you do speculate, it opens up contrasting views. And fine, keeps things here interesting. Nowhere in the terms of use of Phonescoop does it say, you go if you're wrong.

Heck, I'm defending someone I don't agree with! 🤣

And even in this "Rumored" article he didn't say, "Oh well android does it 'TOO'" he answered a question/concern about the person switching to droid stating they will not track his information which is false and he cleared that up, not using it as a defense. And like I said, YES YOU SOUND UNEDUCATED if you think for the slightest second that this will be the defense they use in the court of f*cking law. SMH 🤣 Pure comedy

If you're referring to the comment in a thread a few down where Steve Jobs says "Oh yes they do," that sounds more like a statement in a conversation/interveiw and not the defense Apple plans to use in court...

Right here:

Steve Jobs' email address said:

Q: Steve,

So your only response is to discredit the source?

It's been carried by a dozen news organizations. You're going to toss it out because I linked the one at the top of the Google results?

Grow up. Search it yourself.

Grow up and search it myself? hmm ok, like Apple's email response team doesn't all say from Steve? Duh, its not really steve. Go figure, and like I said, the debate was that apple uses the "Google did it" in court. Apple will and has never use "____ did it" in court. Grow up and act your age man. Adults know how the legal system works and fully understands that a corporation with such stature would never use such a feeble excuse to justify their actions in court. That is what this whole post was about, and that is what you seem to be supporting that apple would/have, when they didn't/would never.

Sorry for the grammatical errors btw.

Don't make it an Apple thing, its wrong no matter. Thing is with law suits, you have to prove damages. For some odd reason, not liking something isn't being damaged. At the most, Apple and any other devices should require a refund if one so wishes.
