It doesn't matter
DrunkApr 21, 2011, 2:37 PM
It doesn't matter what we say or think. We have no input for any of this. We don't have the money to make our voices heard, we don't have the right name or political power to make a dent into this.
AT&T will get their way. It's easier to buy out someone with towers than to build their own. I've seen it happen in my home town. I loved Edge wireless and at&t bought them out and screwed everyone. People lost jobs, customers were lied to and angry. That was a good time for me to be working with Alltel. Then the same thing happened to me, lost my job and now it's happening again.
Cell phones are not a 'right' mind you. It doesn't matter what we think. Those with money make decisions that effect us.

Cell phones are not a right. I can agree wtih you there. But the airwaves that they run on are publicly owed. We own them. Without those airwaves then these companies are nothing so I believe that it does matter what we as the owners of the public airwaves think.

I'm sure the people who voted for Gore in Florida thought their votes counted, too.

Its really sad this is happening. Im a big fan of T-Mobile. I used to work for AT&T and I know their peoblems as a company. If this merger goes through we can say goodbye...
Goodbye to free tether.
Goodbye to no dropped calls.
Goodbye to good customer service.
Just to name a few... đ

Totally agree with the last two. Tethering really isn't supposed to be free, but TMO really doesn't enforce it much so I really, really agree with the first one. Been tethering for many years now with TMO.
