Eliminating a competitor increases competition every time, LOL!
Yeah right AT&T!! You Neo-Cons who feel the government should NEVER DO ANYTHING, need not comment. I KNOW, it is socialist & part of a "progressive plot to destroy America as we know it" to prevent shared monopolies like this, or repair crumbling infrastructure & provide healthcare to the destitute/seniors, regulate or test anything like water supplies, etc. Let's keep the government OUT OF THIS & put our TOTAL focus on the freedom of foreigners who hate us like as is written in our constitution!

BTW-Nothing against Republicans at all. I vote that way often. Just hate hearing mindless dribble spew from people that I've heard already on Rush Limbaugh. That always seems to permeate these forums on this proposed merger. 🙄

*Nod* Stop listening to Rush. Works every time. Rush is an entertainer. He is going to give his audience what it wants, man.

Libertarians practice that view much more than "conservatives". And Libertarians are found on both conservative and liberal sides of the political spectrum. So saying "Neo-cons" need not reply to support their view of government getting out of the way is not an accurate portrayal of their typical political views.
But you keep injecting incorrect terminology into these discussions all you like junior.

Whatever. I'm a Libertarian. And I DO feel that way MOST of the time... But no way am I for this. The people must be protected from government more so than businesses and no way do I want AT&T to pop our little cherries as they WILL do just like Verizon did. Forget about it.

Of course the government should stay out of everything and just let the giant corporations do as they please without oversight or regulations. Giant corporations are your friend. Giant corporations know what's good for America and can be trusted to act with everybody's best interest in mind. They would never cause a global financial meltdown, poison the environment, market unsafe products, treat their employees unfairly, practice discrimination or fix pricing. 🙂
