Review: Motorola Q

Thanks for the extensive review. I learned a couple things that even the Verizon rep didn't know about. 🙂 I have been using it since June 2nd.
A couple of things you may have missed...
The battery level indicator has a habit of getting stuck at full, then suddenly jumps down to half(this was corroborated with the Verizon store unit).
The mini-SD port cover is extremely difficult to open. Even with a tiny, sharp screwdriver(btw- it opens from the side adjacent to the IR port).
There is no quick, one-key-press way of putting the phone in silent/vibrate mode(such as holding down the # key in a Samsung).
Page 75 of the manual says that to disconnect a web session you should press the "End Session" key. 😕 Where is it? I have to continu...

I have been waiting for a phone similar to the Q. What I want in the phone
1. wifi b and g
2. usb modem for laptop access
3. bluetooth 1 and 2
4. gps
5 qwerty keyboard on front unit similar 650 or hp 6940 pda
6. WM5 pocketpc
7. Pocket office
8 Phone with good voice quality and speaker
9 evdo internet access
10 being able to use all wireless radios at same time
11 backup software as part of the package
12 QVGA or 320x320 high resolution screen
13 minisd and SD
What I have found is variations of this spec.
What unit is the answer...

I played with a Q this weekend, coming from a Wizard owner I wasn't none impressed however it is extremley thin and well built.
Overall this phone is exactly what I figured it would be which is a phone to steal the BB users away.
For $199 you can't expect everything, it's a great price for the target audience they expect to grab with it and I see it doing just that.
