Review: Motorola Q

that would be on the extra's portion of the review... there appears the menu selection of "ZOOM" which may or may not provide what you are looking for

I purchase the Q phone. It is really awesome. Except for no wireless b/g, no modem, wm5 pocketpc os, it has wm5 smartphone os. If these are added to unit it will be untouchable in my opinion. There would be only few devices with the same functionality but none as slick or slim as it.

There is a 6x digital zoom in “Still” mode. There is not a zoom in video mode – at least that I have found. The camera works surprisingly well. This one is actually usable. Of course keep in mind that the Q replaces a Treo 600 which had a useless camera. The Q has “Burst” mode (although in my limited testing I believe I could snap the pictures at about the same rate) and a “Timer”. There is also a flash/strobe which helps a bit.

So far I have found the Q to be awesome; Verizon EVDO awesome; and converting from Palm OS to Windows Mobile 5 brutal!
