Im so tired of hearing Sprint cry about this sale. Calling it a duopoly before it even happens is like they're giving up the fight before the fight has even started

Try this one. Quit your yappin'. Until you can speak knowledgeably about HHI indices, spectrum holdings, economies of scale, etc., stop posting about this merger. You are just adding to the unintelligent noise that tries to pass itself off as discourse in this forum.

Thanks for corroborating my point. You are yet another ignoramus with little if anything constructive to add to the discussion.

AJ, I was sort of agreeing with him till the vulgar post. That, calling people nazi's or communists and think of the children are my three sore spots.

so unless I have absolute knowledge of every aspect of this merger I should just remain quiet. First of all I just said im sick of Sprint bitchin about this transaction of T-mobile. If Sprint was able to pull it off instead of at&t im sure they would feel its perfectly ok. So if I dont use big boy words like you im just being unintelligent. I thought this was a public forum where I could write how I feel about something. If im tired of sprints crying Im going to say it. People like you are the reason why I stopped reading the forums on Phonescoop....I guess i'll go back to not reading Phonescoop.
btw...this isnt an email....we dont need your signature at the end, AJ.

I totally agree. "AJ" seems to think that he has supreme knowledge of all things cellular, and we shouldn't dare post anything here. It would seem that he has a habit of belittling others - just check his posting history. From my psychology classes, I would guess that he has an inferiority complex and feels the need to attack the thoughts of others to feel good about himself. He's nothing more than a message board troll.

I have conducted research into the wireless industry for over a decade, so, yes, I do have a massive body of knowledge about all things wireless.

My "inferiority complex" is that I have had it up to my eyeballs with the inferior, neurotypical intellects that I have to...

Oh, so you're the only smart one floating in a sea of idiots? You need some SERIOUS therapy. Your arrogance is almost funny.

There is a point where intelligence is not needed in forums.

However, AJ's acute knowledge on this topic should not be dismissed. It is completely warranted. I welcome any thoughts, knowledge, itinerary and plans or ideas he has on this. AJ, Cellstudent, myself and countless others that may or may not be tied to Sprint are joining together regardless what carrier we are on to fight along side of Dan Hesse and Sprint to help keep you from carrying lubricated protection.

I can't stress enough the severity of this possible merge. Those that don't see this as a threat, are either employees of ATT, or are too young to understand the scope of the landscape and the adverse effects this will have on having viable choices and control on prici...

Wow, I didn't realize that I have offended the Jedi temple of the telecommunications guardians. You people really need to get a life - I have never seen so many people who have placed so much importance in what they think they know. If this pending business transaction truly has this doomsday-esque quality to it, instead of sounding the alarm on this obscure message thread, why don't you take your dire warnings to the mainstream media?

And just a friendly reminder, this is a public forum, not your own private message board. So I don't give a damn about what you prefer.

Thanks

Seriously, you guys come on here and bash those with knowledge about the industry because they actually have some intellegent information to offer. You two on the other hand have yet to actually present a single decent response to the subject or offer any real insight into why you think this would actually be beneficial to the American consumer. I personally welcome any and all healthy debate on the matter even though I don't believe that this is beneficial at all. The problem is that you aren't providing healthy debate. You just seem to be upset that other people are infact more knowledgable on the matter at hand and since you cannot compete in that area you will just yell and complain. You might wanna look at your subject line and take a l...

First. I can assure you that no offense has been taken.

Secondly, the purpose of numerous individuals fighting against this purchase, is to sanction less control of the industry by only two large entities and place more balance into the consumers interests. Taking away the fourth largest carrier leaves the third more vulnerable than it already is. That is the next step to achieving a Duopoly. This is the reason Verizon sits on the sideline without a peep.

For us "Jedi Temple Guardians", we take this very seriously and are simply placing an emphasis on the question of: How serious do you want to be with this topic and how it effects you? Your comments appear to convey you are either for the merge OR you show little concern. That is w...

Personally I've learned a lot of fascinating things over the last few years by reading posts from WiWavelength, Slammer, and a few others that I probably would have a hard time finding out about otherwise. One of the things that I like about PhoneScoop over other blogs is that it's easy find posts from people like them, and I hope they keep it up.
