Sprint would do well to find any roaming partners besides Verizon. No sense in lining those guys pockets with roaming revenues. This wouldn't be so necessary if Sprint had taken Scott Ford up on his offer to merge Alltel with Sprint on multiple occasions. It's sort of a "make your bed now lay in it" thing I guess.

I think Sprint would have really been ahead of the game if they would have made a lot of better decisions. Only way to win big is to bet big seems to be their motto. Well with big volatile bets comes big negative odds, which they have came to know quite well.

I think it is safe to admit by now that the wimax didn't pay off for them.

I think they are still in line for success but it will be some rough years ahead for them and their investors. The thing that looks good to investors in marginal gain. You don't make a lot of money by buying AT&T stock at lets say $140 a share and 5 years later they are at $145 a share. There is not much more room to gain for AT&T and Verizon before the FCC breaks them up. Investors know and understand th...
