If I were the CEO of Samsung, I would dump Apple as a customer. That way Apple will have shot themselves in the foot because Samsung is the only electronics company outside of Japan and China/Taiwan/Thailand who Apple buys parts for their poorly engineered ipods and ipads.

Think this through. Apple is doing this because they can. Samsung can't just "dump" the single largest purchaser of their NAND flash chips. That would be Samsung shooting themselves in the foot. Not the other way around.

It would hurt Samsung yes, but since they have their own line of products it won't hurt them to badly... Besides I'm sure that part of their partnership is that Apple was the main buyer of the NAND flash chips...

Apple is anticipated to spend just under $8 billion on Samsung components this year. You don't think losing $8 billion in sales would hurt Samsung too badly?! 🤨
