Moreover, the update process is STILL not as fouled up as the Android update process, which is really completely screwed up...
As far as it goes, some people got it in March....others got in April...that's not too horrible actually..it's not like people are waiting 6 months to a year for updates that everyone else has....like some Android users who are still waiting for 2.2 when many others are already on 2.3.
And as far being held up by the carriers...I frankly don't blame carriers for their caution, if something goes wrong and the update bricks their phone, who will the customers complain to? Who will they blame? The manufacturer? Microsoft? No, the carrier. So if the carrier wants to make sure the update works before sending it out, I can't say I blame them.
