AT&T to Transition Mid-West Markets Away from Alltel

AT&T also took over the Alltel towers in eastern Montana. And as a Verizon dealer, I couldn't be happier, because most people have been porting their numbers over to Verizon because they don't want to go to AT&T!! 😈 🤤

It's the entire state of MT. Were enjoying a flood of new Activations here in Bozeman too. Not too bad.

I think Verizon got one market in the mid-north eastern side of MT. My friend who works in Dothan, AL at Verizon got a TON of new activations when AT&T took over Alltel.

Perhaps a similar effect will happen when ATT takes over Tmo. Perhaps Sprint will have a ton of new activations. People will buy up a lot of the EVO 3D's, and whatever else Sprint will have by the beginning of next year.

Doubtful. Sprint never gains from anything. If they did, they would be making a profit.

Well, they've come a long, long ways in the past 4-5. Just this past qtr Sprint gaineded customers for the first time in like nearly 5yrs.

The same thing happened in the reverse direction when Verizon took over Altell markets.....

Acquisitions always increase churn, always.

Well fortunatly this perticularly time it isn't the customer base that ATT is after, it's the spectrum.

But considering a majority of Tmo's customer base are bargain hunters, and well ATT is no bargain, Sprint would be the next best bargain.
